Cassie's Basement was our practice space for a while. The house was free-standing, but concealed. To enter, you had to stoop down and walk down this long hallway, and like Petra, her home was revealed. The brick church next door would host AA meetings at the same time we were singing songs celebrating drug use. We didn't do drugs, we would just celebrate them! The first time we played a party there, the Police arrived and I was thrilled. "Oh My God!! The first time the Cops broke up our gig! Cool!"
