The San Francisco Studios rehearsal space is a block from here. There was normally a large group of aggressive people smoking crack cocaine on the sidewalk in front. The bar immediately next door is called "Aunt Charlie's" and is a transvestite/transexual bar. The auto shop across the street serviced mostly police vehicles. We shared this room with Zen Guerilla and Earplug Boy. Once when we were loading up the car, a crazy woman appeared and rubbed her naked ass on the hood of the car.
